Skyhawks is excited to offer a series of one hour daily classes in addition to our weekly Day Camps. Skyhawks will also be offering a FREE Sports Sampler Session June 4th from 12pm - 1pm for kids ages 6-12. This free sampler will touch on baseball, soccer, flag football and volleyball! You must register for the free Sports Sampler session at skyhawks.com prior to June 4th.
We are pleased and excited to announce two summer camp options for SJCS students. (Currently, SJCS is not staffed to offer Summer Care as in the past.) Father Stan and I have researched both of these opportunities in detail and our SJCS Advisory Council whole heartedly support these programs. Please contact either of these programs to secure your spot for summer care. Please note for the SJCS Day Camps that this is open to current and newly registered SJCS students.
St. James Catholic School has an opening for a qualified individual to be the teacher in our 3 year-old classroom for the upcoming school year 2021-2022.
Despite COVID, we've been able to continue to adapt to the changes it has given us the past year. We're looking forward to our current students returning for the 2021-2022 school year and are offering $100 off the registration fee for those who register by May 31st!
SJCS will not have to make up inclement weather days (Feb. 15th - 19th) and current SJCS families should register their students for the 2021-2022 school year as soon as possible.

As of March 31, 2020, Governor Abbott has extended all school closures until May 4, 2020. As the number of confirmed cases continue to rise, it is important to follow all recommendations and requirements by civic authorities in regards to school closures, public and private gatherings, and work from home directives. Therefore, we will continue our Distance Learning through May 8, 2020.
San Antonio and Bexar County officials announced the “Stay Home, Work Safe” measures will be in place though April 9, 2020, therefore our time for Distance Learning has been extended through April 9th. You can find more information in the letters from Mrs. Lopez and Superintendent Marti West posted in the Current School Newsletter section.
Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Schools of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, including St. James Catholic School, will be closed this next week, for an extension of Spring Break, March 16- March 23.
Precautionary actions due to the COVID-19 outbreak have necessitated rescheduling the Heritage Day reunion. This includes the Golf Tournament, 5k Fun Run and Homecoming Social planned for evening. At this time we are looking to reschedule the event on October 3. Please pencil that date onto your calendar. We'll keep you posted. Please help us spread the news to classmates, family and friends.
